Braided hairstyles always catch attentions, especially those going along with stunning styles. French braids and fishtail braids are frequently mentioned when it comes to braid hairstyle, so here I will introduce another eye-catching braid–the snake braid.
Snake braid, one of the braid styles that is ever-so-sultry and is a wonderful way to promote your hair look this season, receives warmly welcome. Of course, its being easy to-be-styled explains part of the reason. It is so easy that you can master it in on time as long as you can do a basic three-strand braid.
Tutorial for unique snake braid
What you need:
- A comb
- A Smoother Serum Spray
- Bobby Pins
- A medium hold hairspray
Step 1: Start with combing your hair smooth.
Step 2: Take a part of hair to make a large diagonal forward section behind your ear.
Step 3: Equally split the forward part into three sections.
Step 4: Spritz some smoother serum spray to smooth out the three subsections, in order to create a sleek, beautiful braid.
Step 5: Start styling the three subsections into a basic three-strand brad. Remember to keep medium tension on the braid.
Step 6: Continue the braiding until reaching the desired length. Usually it is suggested leaving one or two inches below where you stop the braid.
Step 7: Take the smallest subsection to lightly slide up the braid. Keep sliding until reaching the top of the braid.
Step 8: Slide it back down to make a looser “s” pattern braid.
Step 9: Wrap the “s” pattern braid around the back of your head and secure it in place with a bobby pin.
Step 10: Add shine, add extra hold and tame any flyaways by spritzing some medium hold hairspray.
Tip: This style is also suitable for those who have thin hair. But for a voluminous final result, they can use hair extensions to add length and volume.
