Wow, such an incredibly fantastic braid updo.
Having her elegant, crimson Valentino dress and red sandals matched, Amanda Seyfried perfectly rocked her stunning braid updo, which was styled by celebrity hair stylist, Renato Campora, who once crafted some fabulous hairstyles for Katy Perry and Jessica Chastain.
According to a post of Us Weekly, Campora explained why he opted for the ‘do for Seyfried. “When I saw Amanda’s dress, I knew I wanted the hair to feel youthful, playful, and innocent,” he said, “ I decided on French braids, but still wanted to maintain a bit of sophistication and structure.”
How to recreate Sewfried’s intricate ‘do?
It is hairdo embracing both romance and easiness, according to Campora. Then, how to style it? First, begin with making a middle part from the top of the head to the nape of the neck. Next, apply some molding max thoroughly so as to create texture and hold. For Campora, the Oribe Rough Luxury Molding Wax creates wonder.
Then, start plaiting a French braid using either right or left part of the hair. According to Campora, the key element is to start plaiting using small pieces of hair, so as to create a final appearance that the braid lays flat on the head. After that, continue plaiting the French braid by gradually adding larger and larger sections of hair with your going down. Secure the braid using an elastic once finishing braiding.
Repeat the braiding using the rest part of hair.
Looping both braids into small buns and pin them in place.
According to Sewfried, the styling took her about 40 minutes.
