Have you watched the new live action Beauty and the Beast Disney movie coming out on March 17, 2017? I’m so excited since watching the perfect Belle which acted by Emma Watson, my favorite Disney Princess! It reminds lots of girls’ dream of becoming a princess who lives in a castle. Through, we know it will probably never happen, however, we can make ourselves look and feel like one. Now you can see a hair tutorial on how to do all the styles from the movie.
It’s fairly easy to recreate and you can totally wear it anytime. I hope you love this hair styles for dress up or Belle Princess cosplay! It’ll totally work on long or medium hair. All you need are a few rubber bands, a brush, and a little bit of magic to create two effortless hair looks.
Follow the 8 steps:
Step 1: Tease your hair and part it off center
Teasing your hair with brush and parting them off center gently.
Step 2: Curling the hair
Start curling your hair with curling wand or straightener. Which will make twisting your hair a lot easier and it will give it a little more volume!
Step 3: Take section of hair
Once you’ve brushed and curled your hair, section your hair into two major parts, front and back. Take two sections from the front part and keep them separate from the rest of your hair. Use hair band or regular clips to keep these strands from falling into the back.
Step 4: Grab a section of hair on top and tie it
Grab a section of your hair to create a small, Half-up ponytail. You’ll want to leave some hair covering your ears because we’ll need a thick section when we start twisting the hair. Before you tie your hair up, grab your hair third times with your comb or add hairspray and tease it just a bit to give that area volume.
Step 5: Twisting each side of hair that is sectioned off
After creating the top part of half-up ponytail sections, start twisting your front section hair. Grab 2 small sections from the top and work your way along your ear to the bottom, until you don’t have any more strands to grab on to. This will create bigger twists and more volume. After you’ve twisted the first section, pin it with bobby pins or clips to secure them. Then, repeat the same on the other side.
Step 6: Gather both sections of hair together to create a half up half down look
After that, gather bother sections of twisted hair together and tie them with elastic, you can lift or down the half up look with loosing the rubber and add some hairspray. This should be around the same area we tied the first part on the half ponytail. If both sections are lower or higher than the half pony elastic, just slide that rubber band down. These two twisted strands should be wrap around the same area we tie the first part on the half-up ponytail. If both sections are lower than the half-up ponytail elastic, slide the rubber band down and use the pins to secure the hairs and add some hairspray to make the twisted hair look messy and give it more volume.
Step 7: Grab the remaining hair to make a inverse ponytail and secure it
Leave about 7 to 10 cm from the ponytail and tie with a elastic with your remaining hair. Pulling them into a low ponytail. Open and make a little hole from the middle of the remaining hair. Flip your hair up and through to make a inverse ponytail. Secure them with pins. Pulling the braided ponytail hair out to create volume.
Step 8: Adorn with flair blue ribbon
The last step, grab a nice blue ribbon and tie it as a bow knot around the small elastic and the Ponytail.
