What You Need:
- A small bowl
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil (Unrefined, Virgin coconut oil is suggested.)
- Fresh or dried lavender springs (If you can’t find lavender springs, use 2 drops of essential oil.)

Step1: Put 2 tablespoons of coconut oil into the bowl
Take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil out and place the oil into your bowl. The exact amount can be different depending on your hair length. 2 tablespoons is suggested if you have medium-to-long hair. In case of liquid oil, measure it like normal.
Step 2: Add lavender
Take off the greens and buds from the springs and put it in the bowl. A few pinches is enough. But it is fine to add a little more for fragrance.
Step 3: Infuse lavender
It is a step showing how to infuse the lavender into the coconut oil. First, start with placing the bowl into a sauce pan that is full of water. Turn on your gas stove to warm up the water and then the coconut oil will melt down. A low-medium heat is enough. Remember to stir the oil periodically.
Step 4: Cool and strain
Set the infused coconut oil aside for 10-15 minutes to make it cool down. Take out the lavender pieces if you want.
Step 5: Apply the oil to your hair
Work the oil through your hair. Focus on the place where hair problems take place. For example, if you have dry hair, focus on the dry hair ends. And if you want to get rid of itchy, dry skin or dandruff, focus on the scalp. Keep the oil on your hair for 15 to 45 minutes. And then shampoo and style as normal.
